Senior Information Security Consultant - Full Time

Evolve Security is looking for a full-time Senior Security Consultant to join our team!

What will you be doing?
Evolve Security is looking for a Senior Security Consultant that will be a key member in Evolve’s expansion into new markets. Responsibilities will include leading the delivery of various application vulnerability assessments, continuous internal / external penetration assessments, incident response and detection assessments, as well as various other types of security strategy and architecture reviews. You will have the opportunity to be a region lead and operate and grow your region to your liking. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to establish a local EvolveSec meetup group and be a thought leader in fostering a community of cyber security professionals.

This position has the opportunity to work remote with potential to travel up to 30%. Are you the right fit?
• 5 to 10 years of information security work experience
• 3+ years penetration testing experience with a security or consulting firm
• Strong application and vulnerability management experience
• Intimate knowledge of multiple operating systems and associated command-line administration tools (Bash / PowerShell)
• Knowledge of the application stack including, web, mobile and API
• Understanding of SQL and multiple database platforms (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
• Fundamental knowledge and understanding of networking technologies (IP, TCP, UDP, etc.)
• Scripting experience in one or more of: Ruby, Python, Perl, Bash
• OSCP, CISSP, other certifications or advanced degrees are a bonus
• A desire to tinker and understand how things work
• Ability to interface with clients, utilizing consulting and negotiating skills
• Strongly self-motivated and able to work independently towards team objectives
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) and ability to work as part of a team
• Comfortable presenting and delivering curriculum (lectures and/or technical labs)
• Willing to travel up to 30%

Business Development Associate - Full Time 

Evolve Security is looking for a full-time Business Development Associate to join our team!

What will you be doing?
We are looking for a Business Development Associate to support the Business Development and Sales/Solution Delivery Teams. This role will help build our sales pipeline with potential clients interested in improving their security posture.  This role is a lead generation and support role that may involve some cold calling, high volume email management; scouting LinkedIn (and other resources) for contacts, and for research. Successful candidates will be creative in developing experimental ways to connect with and set up meetings with key individuals.

The Business Development Associate will also conduct market research and explore new opportunities. This role will partner with marketing, sales and production managers to create and implement business strategies to increase brand awareness and sales. Additionally, they will assist with the development of marketing materials, analyze business competition and maintain corporate contact lists via CRM/Salesforce.

We are looking for an individual eager to launch a sales and marketing career in the B2B IT Security and Technology space. Evolve Security is a growing fast-paced startup and this role has the opportunity to take on new responsibilities within the organization as it expands. This is a Salary +

Responsibilities include:
• Uncovering new business opportunities and generating qualified leads through targeted prospecting using online networking tools, social media,
business directories, referrals and networking at local events to maintain monthly/quarterly Business Development team quota
• Implementing lead generation best practices and creatively innovating their own strategies through email templates, A/B sales Messaging/testing
methodologies and list segmentation
• Communicating value proposition clearly and confidently
• Emailing/Calling/Following up with prospective customers in target verticals
• Setting up on-site meetings between prospective customers and members of the Sales/Solutions Delivery team
• Developing and maintaining a database of qualified leads and/or prospecting activities and providing status reports as needed
• Representing Evolve Security at networking and marketing events

Preferred Experience & Ambition:
• 1 to 3 years of sales, marketing, or account management experience – technology/software industry is advantageous

Cybersecurity Instructor - Part Time

Evolve Security is looking for a part time Cybersecurity Instructor to join our team!

What will you be doing?
We are building out our pool of Evolve Security Academy instructors and looking for security professionals passionate about training new security talent. Share your knowledge and expertise with individuals passionate about entering the cyber security field.

PRO In-Person Bootcamp:
• Location: Chicago, IL in the Merchandise Mart at 1871
• Time commitment:  Classes meet Monday - Thursday from 6pm - 9pm
CST and every other Saturday from 10am - 3pm (~15 hours per week)

REMOTE Online Bootcamp:
• Location: Video conference
• Time commitment:  Classes meet Monday - Thursday from 7pm - 9pm CST (~12 hours per week)

Instructors lead discussions, provide analysis of security concepts, facilitate hands-on labs, support students in their projects and challenges, and provide feedback to students. Throughout the course, the lead instructor’s efforts are complemented by Evolve Security video modules and advisor support.

Responsibilities include:
• The overall training and success of the student cohort
• Daily delivery and facilitation of of curriculum, instruction, reviews and labs
• Communicate advanced security concepts
• Enhance curriculum and labs
• Serve as a mentor to students
• Manage processes for effective student learning

Are you the right fit?

Security Solutions Architect – Full Time

What will you be doing?
Evolve Security is looking for a Security Solutions Architect who will collaborate with the Business Development team and is responsible for leading
the sale of security services by providing expertise on customer-specific security solutions, business justifications, and scoping requirements for national accounts.

A successful Security Solutions Architect should be able to present and explain various technologies to customers, guide them through requirements gathering, and formulate a security services solution.  They will develop solutions and proposals that focus on application security, penetration testing and enterprise training. This is a salary + commission position.

Responsibilities include:
• Collaborate with Business Development team to plan sales strategies, develop proposals, deliver customer presentations, facilitate demos, and close the business.
• Provide consultative expertise as the SME within all our Security Solutions including application security, penetration testing and enterprise training.
• Provide scoping documentation to support the proposals, statements of work, and requests for proposals.
• Keep current on new and immersing technologies to leverage all of our partnerships in a competitive marketplace.

Preferred Experience & Ambition:
• Possess demonstrable skills in customer-centric selling and a proven track record using it to help drive revenue
• Strong technical expertise, information security experience highly preferred
• Experience working in professional services environment
• Experience in managing long and complex sales cycle and multi-level selling environments (C-Level, IT Managers, Engineering, Purchasing, etc.).
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the innate ability to quickly build rapport.
• Highly skilled at technical writing and documentation
